The mission of FSA Counseling Center is to improve the lives of individuals and families by providing affordable, quality counseling and education. On an average year, FSA provides direct services to over 1200 people, provides 7,000+ hours of service. Children accounted for 12% of our clients, while 52% of clients have a household income of less than $40,000. Single parents with children comprise about 31% of those seen. Fees for services are often covered by insurance and Medicaid or Medicare. In addition, through the United Way, FSA is able to provide counseling at a reduced rate based upon household income.
