The mission of FSA Counseling Center is to improve the lives of individuals and families by providing affordable, quality counseling and education. In 2014, FSA provided direct services to 1,299 people, providing 7,121 hours of service. Children accounted for 12% of our clients, while 52% of clients have a household income of less than $40,000. Single parents with children comprise 31% of those seen. Fees for services are often covered by insurance and Medicaid or Medicare. In addition, through the United Way, FSA is able to provide counseling at a reduced rate based upon household income.
